On the Russian fan page for this project, which is being made by the original authors of Return 2.0, there was a poll about adding monsters, animations, and other things from other mods. I talked more about this in my video (https://youtu.be/7CU4xqcm3no), so I’m posting it here as well for interest.

Hello, friends.
Today a small survey – I’d like to know what you think about using monster models and animations in Gothic that are taken from other games or various 3D resources. It’s clear that the old models from Gothic 1 (in Gothic 2, models from the first game are used in 90% of cases) are extremely outdated, the animations are clunky and full of bugs, and even high-resolution textures often don’t improve their appearance. After all, almost 30 years have passed. But is it worth refreshing the game a bit in this way or not? Vote and share your opinion in the comments. Should I bother with this, or should I leave it alone?
You can see the results of the poll, which 405 people took part in, here:

1) Yes, why not - 56.79%
2) Yeah, but only for new monsters - 21.23%
3) No, only retextures. We don’t need new monsters. - 14.07%
4) “No, only the old stuff, let it look like the original game, let it keep the atmosphere” - 7.9%
