Gothic 2: Bumshak – Mod added to the website and translated

Hi. Today I uploaded to the web the very first modification ever created for Gothic 2: Night of the Raven, originally released back in 2004. It’s also the only mod where you can play as an orc. The modification is fairly small — around five hours long — and focuses on quests and the atmosphere of orcish life. Unlike other mods, you don’t gain experience points or level up by killing enemies or completing quests. Instead, you receive different types of rewards, such as potions.

You may have seen this mod before on Gothicz.net, but the Czech translation was basically impossible to get for most people — and I decided to fix that. I found an old manually translated version, but it had issues with my favorite fonts and didn’t include translated quest names. So I made a new AI Czech translation. I might later merge the old manual one into it, but for now, I’ll leave it as is. Anyway, it’s definitely not a Google Translate job, so aside from a few small terminology quirks, you can enjoy high-quality dialogues and quest descriptions :).

A few years ago, someone on Reddit released a manual English translation and AI English dubbing for Bumshak, but that post was deleted, and I haven’t been able to find those files anywhere. So I finished a Google-translated English version now
