Myrtana 2.0 is coming – Update on inactivity and the new website

Hi everyone!
I’d like to apologize for the recent inactivity on both the website and Discord. I needed to take a short break, and on top of that, I got hit by an illness. Since Myrtana currently relies almost entirely on me for everything behind the scenes, whenever I’m out, everything unfortunately comes to a halt.
However, I spent the first part of my break working on the new website, which is the first major step toward Myrtana 2.0. Thanks to new skills, experience, and especially a new team member and fan named Era, I’m now able to create a clean, modern, and essentially professional website tailored to our needs.
The current platform allowed me to start back when I had minimal experience, but it’s expensive and full of limitations. Working on it was often clunky and a massive time-sink. With the new site, we’ll have completely new possibilities; it will look better and allow for continuous development. If you find a bug or have a suggestion for a new feature, you’ll be able to report it easily, and I’ll be able to fix or implement it right away.
What is the current status? The website is more or less finished, but now comes the tedious "grunt work" – I have to manually migrate data for all the mods, check AI-generated content, fill in missing info, fix links, and move the entire image gallery.
I know some time has passed and several mod updates you’ve been waiting for have been released. We also have translations and dubbing in progress, but logically, it’s no longer worth the effort to keep messing around with uploading this content to the old, broken website.
What can you look forward to?
The new site will have everything the old one had, but in a much better and more functional format.
The platform will be much more open to adding new features.
Full mobile and tablet support, which has been quite poor until now.
At launch, the site will be in Czech and English, with plans to add Polish, German, and Russian later.
The user and account section will be fully functional, allowing you to react to everything on the site and interact with each other easily.
We are keeping the domain www.myrtana.net, though we will unfortunately lose some things that we'll have to rebuild from scratch (like SEO rankings and Google search visibility). However, even that will be better in the long run. For example, registrations on the old site were basically useless and the member section didn't work—on the new site, it will finally make sense.
In addition, I’m developing a Discord Bot connected to the new website, which will handle many tasks automatically and make my life much easier.
Once the new web is live, Era and I will start working on a new "New Balance" launcher and updater, which will be far superior to the previous one. We have more things planned, but I don’t want to spoil everything just yet.
We’re launching soon!
