Hi everyone, it's time to catch up on a few things I’ve been neglecting lately due to taking a short break. We now have a new experimental plugin created by fans/players from the Russian forum. Keep in mind that this is an unofficial addon, which means it can potentially introduce bugs. It also makes the game easier and adds systems that the original balance was never designed for.
Below is a description of what the addon does:
The addon expands trading options for several merchants:
Kardif, Sagitta, Constantino, Dragomir, Jora, Bosper, Gallahad, Xardas, and Matteo. Each of them gains additional buy/sell options. Here are the details…
Kardif
Trading becomes available after completing the quest to beat up Moe and asking him about selling meat.He now has two trade categories: one for food and one for alcohol — simply for convenience.Prices have been adjusted to match in-game balance (they differed in Liker’s item list). All prices are reduced to one third.
Sagitta
Her trading opens after bringing her the Sun Aloe and asking what kind of potion she intends to make from it.The shop is divided into rare herbs and common herbs.Sagitta is a poor woman, so her prices are cheaper: herbs cost three times less than Constantino’s, and permanent bonus items are four times cheaper.
Constantino
You can trade with him after returning the key he lost.He also has two categories: regular potions and permanent potions. In the regular category you can now sell things like protection from impact, protection from falling, various boosting potions, etc.Prices are reduced to one third, permanent potions to one quarter.
Dragomir
Trading opens after returning his crossbow. You can sell him any crossbows you find — the overly powerful ones were intentionally excluded. If you don’t need Nimrod, you can hand it over to Ork; and Beliar’s crossbow… you either use it or don’t craft it at all.Prices are reduced to one third.
Jora
Trading becomes available after taking the gold from the filthy pickpocket and reporting it to Jora.Note: after completing the quest, you don’t have to give the gold back if you’re short on money. He has two categories: regular goods and special goods.Regular goods include random junk — fishing rods, pickaxes, brooms, tongs, etc.Special goods contain more valuable items (we’ll figure out more to add later — half of New Balance is already forgotten). For now: rune paper, Innos and Beliar statues, a sextant, and similar items. I’m considering adding repeatable quest items.Prices are reasonable — junk prices stay the same, special goods have a 2× to 4× reduction.
Bosper
Trading opens once you return his bow.For players who use Bosper’s bow, this means waiting a bit — and you likely won’t have anything to sell him anyway. You’ll be able to sell special crafted ammunition — custom arrows and bolts.Prices are reduced by half.
Gallahad
Trading opens after feeding the city mage.He will buy scrolls from you.To prevent the player from drowning in gold, prices are reduced to one third.
Xardas
Trading unlocks once you take the demon statue quest. He will buy dark magic scrolls and remains of undead creatures.Prices: scrolls are 3× cheaper, remains 2.5× cheaper.
Matteo
Trading becomes available after paying off Gritta’s debt.He buys jewelry — all rings and amulets. To keep things balanced, the gold payout is reduced by four times.
