Gothic 2: New Balance - Update 13.10.2024 a 14.10.2024

  1. On the West Coast, the hero no longer speaks phrases if he is in transition.

  3. The Turnip of the druid Kormak can now be collected with quick loot

  4. Reduced enemy regeneration in the "Wrath of Beliar" submodule

  7. Fixed a bug in ASnC mode where the mage+shaman build did not allow you to draw intelligence.

  8. Fixed minor bugs in the quickbar

  9. The quickbar for item sets is now off by default, to turn it on put bToggleHotbarSets=1 in the gothic.ini file.

  10. Slightly improved dice game, player can now win a bit more often

  11. Bug fix, people no longer react to a bug if it enters the house (exception - guards guarding something)

  12. Bug fix in the "Road of Trials" add-on

Bug fixes in the "Road of Trials" plugin


  1. Added support for Hedin's locator plugin (will need to download new version).

  2. Bandit heads can now be cast all at once.

  3. Added Resurrection Scrolls and Poison Potions to Zuris and Ignaz's sales (new game).

  4. Reduced the amount of gold for buying teleport upgrades.

  5. The price of the warrior potion at the statues has been reduced.

  6. Scroll prices for statues have been reduced.

  7. You can now take 10 save potions at a statue at a time, instead of 5 (new game).

  8. New consumable items have been added to statues.

  9. The amount of experience in the plugin has been reduced by 20%, instead of 25%.

  10. Reduced the chance that a bandit will only use firearms.

  11. Decreased the chance of bandits having scrolls, and also removed higher circle scrolls.

  12. Mana regeneration for mages has now been reduced by 1.5x instead of 2x.

  13. Slightly reduced the max speed of monsters in Jharkendar.

  14. If a player has learned poison resistance, poison clouds now deal 30% less damage.

  15. The player will now be aware of summoning bandits to help.

  16. The Dark Mage's control spell requirements have been increased by 40%.

  17. Fixed bandit characteristic patterns (bandits already discovered remain unchanged).

  18. Fixed a bug where Vatras would no longer punish players for killing an Avenger or Assassin.

  19. Fixed a bug where the water of Adanos wasn't working.

  20. Fixed a bug where the chest at Xardas is no longer closed (new game).

  21. Fixed a bug where bandits in some locations can no longer call for reinforcements (near the city, near Onar's farm, near the monastery, in the bandit camp in Jharkendar).

  22. Increased the chance of finding save potions among the bandits.

  23. Fixed one of the causes that could lead to the game crashing during bandit fights.

Fixes in "Path of Damned" plugin


  1. The time it takes for the first hit of Blood Mage damage to appear has been reduced, i.e. damage now appears faster.

  2. Slightly reduced mana requirements for Blood Mage spells.

  3. Improved the damage of some Blood Mage spells.
