Gothic 2: New Balance - Update 16.9. a 17.9.2025

Update September 16, 2025

1. ASnC: Significantly accelerated experience gain with bows and crossbows up to 30% mastery. Also accelerated melee weapon mastery up to 30%. Stamina gain up to 200 is also accelerated (trained using ASnC). The total number of stats has not increased; only the rate of gaining them at the start has changed.

2. Fixed a bug with periodic fire damage – it could disappear without reason.

3. Zombie Necromancer Nergal now spawns with a 3-second delay after reading the lectern, and no longer aggroes summoned units.

4. Fixed game crash when trading with Bosper (occurred under certain conditions with other merchants as well).

5. The combat staff has been added for sale at Isgarot. The staff has also been slightly strengthened (new game).

6. On the platform in the orc mine, most orcs now immediately teleport to the platform. A text notification has also been added.

7. Improved hint menu. Bugs fixed, text enhanced.

8. Restored the amount of mana required to summon Gallahad's wolves.

9. Fixed bug – in the last location (Dragon's Lair), it was impossible to start a dialogue with summoned units.

10. Fixed the training dialogue with Parlan.

11. Slightly increased experience for skeleton warriors (there are 2 versions; experience increased for the stronger skeleton version). The weaker version now has slightly lower defense.

12. Urizel's Wave and Cry of the Dead no longer hit Hubaksis.

13. Summoned units no longer attack orc-ghosts and other unique creatures by default.

14. Fixed the Daron statuette quest. The dialogue with Daron now appears only if you actually delivered the statuette (to Pedro or Gorax) – new game if the quest was already taken.

15. At Constantino, golem hearts are now submitted separately from other ingredients.

16. Fixed the training dialogue with Nrozaz.

17. Slightly reduced the % dexterity bonus on the last bows (by 5%).

Update September 17, 2025

1. Minor bug fixes

2. On the western coast, the worm queen no longer has 2 phases. The first phase used to get stuck in the air (new game if you have already entered the location).

3. Added information on all types of crossbow bolts to the book "Basics of Ranged Combat".

4. Fixed errors in ASnC formulas that appeared in the previous patch.

5. Minor text improvements.
