Mordan MMORPG - End of the project

Dear players,

As you have surely noticed, the number of active players on the server has significantly declined in recent times. This is due to a lack of updates, new content, and resolution of technical issues. The main reason behind this is that we overestimated our capabilities and were unable to keep the server running in an organized manner. Although Mordan initially met all expectations and generated a lot of interest, communication issues gradually piled up, eventually making the server a burden for the team.

After long discussions about “what’s next,” we have made the decision to shut down the Mordan MMO server on the last day of May — May 31, 2025. The server is paid for until that date, and we want to give a chance to the remaining players who are still logging in. It was not an easy decision, but we don’t want to continue giving you false hope for new updates — we want to be honest with you.

As of today, the server shop has been closed to prevent any situation in which someone sends money but doesn't get to use their MP due to our decision. The ticket system will also be disabled to avoid frustration caused by the lack of timely responses from the administration.

Will Mordan ever return?

Unfortunately, we cannot give a definite answer to this question. Some discussions and plans about the future of Mordan are taking place, but we will be able to share more in the coming months. One thing is certain — if Mordan is to return, it will need a thorough rework of its content, balance, and mechanics, along with meaningful improvements to gameplay to ensure it's richer, more engaging, and free of major issues.
