Update – July 17, 2025
Hello everyone!Today, a small hotfix has been released. Most of my time was spent collecting feedback from Steam.
Fixed skill assignment on the quick panel
Fixed UI focus in Ranta
Fixed skill UI
Fixed several localization issues
Removed GC from photo mode – this might help with crashes when taking screenshots
Fixed several tree collision issues
Added anti-stuck system (if you get stuck, press jump a few times)
Added an extra intro check that should fix stuck intro sequences for some players
A new wave for the playtest has just been approved. Enjoy!
PS: We’ve just hit 100,000 playtesters — wow!

Hello everyone!
Over the past few days, I’ve been working on a major patch. Huge thanks to everyone who spent so much time with me testing and hunting down various bugs — you are true legends!
The list of bugs is starting to shrink, which means there’s roughly a week left until the end of the playtest.
Here’s a list of changes and fixes:
Interface:
Fixed UI during skill learning and assignment
Fixed some localization issues
Fixed skill assignment on the panel
Fixed focus issues in Ranta
Expanded voice volume parameter
Fixed ladder interaction using different buttons
Fixed death screen UI for gamepad
Updated skill learning button (active skills now have a different frame)
Unified the bulletin board UI
Improved the settings menu UI for gamepad
Updated chest and container interaction logic
Fixed book reading logic
Fixed inventory and loading UI logic
Quests:
Pants no longer trigger events twice if clicked rapidly
Horka now accepts beer
Akim now gives new pants for the quest
Firewood stacking has been fixed
Recipe for Crossbones has been corrected
Gameplay:
Rewritten control assignment system
Found a faulty shader causing crashes near the fortress (turned out to be an old fur skin)
Tristan can no longer be attacked during dialogue
Fixed issue where multiple clicks in the prologue could freeze the game
Fixed saving/loading unconscious characters
Fixed exploits related to experience and item abuse
The character no longer comments on food after loading
Fixed intoxication stack after loading
Improved logic for draggable items
You can no longer eat underwater
Fixed the bandage slot
Torch no longer disappears after loading
Picked-up items now take priority over ladders
Fixed picking up and dropping heavy two-handed weapons
Improved quest interaction logic in the grotto
Fixed underwater visual effect in certain areas
Vimon now has the correct voice
Adjusted capsule size for human NPCs (easier navigation through tight spaces)
Adjusted capsules for some animals
Bird no longer dies after fights
Added autosave logic (it will trigger more often if manual saving was disabled when the timer ran out)
Fixed condition for the armor reinforcement skill
Recipes can now be sold
Updated NPC death logic (should fix the “breakdancing skeletons” hehe)
Arrows and trails are now properly removed after loading
Level 1 camps can no longer be placed without the survival skill
Fixed issues where quest items already handed in could be looted from NPCs
Solid objects now block Tukht’s skills
Fixed NPC logic after loading while unconscious
Fixed ore mining (now stacks correctly)
Minor Fixes:
Removed GC from photo mode
Fixed water splash sound
Fixed ship collider
Adjusted some camera setups
New Features:
Added ability to select dialogue options using number keys and gamepad
Added and improved anti-stuck system
Added battle music volume slider
Added arrow surface tracing (they now stick into the environment with matching effects)
