Completion of Myrtana.net, Updates and Plans

Hey everyone, I’ve got a few updates I’d like to share so you know what’s going on.

Updates

• Currently, translations of various mods into premium AI Czech are ongoing (soon I’ll release and present a new, higher-quality Czech translation for Guilds, Renovation, and Extended Edition + during streams). Big thanks to Ladin, who’s translating through the premium AI model and is doing an amazing job.

• I’m still working on the website, Discord, and everything around it, just like I’ve been doing all along.

• I’m finishing the Czech translation for the game Drova: Forsaken Kin (2D Gothic). For now, it will be in a mix of Manual/Premium AI/DeepL quality, but the goal is to allow anyone who wants to play it even if the Czech isn’t perfect yet and with the latest version. I plan to gradually polish it into a fully manual Czech translation, but you know how it goes with time and my motivation :D

• Thorus (YouTuber and team member) reached out, saying he wants to start translating Gothic 3: Union Modpack. I’ll prepare and explain everything to him soon, and the translation of this mod collection will begin. It will be manual and for the latest versions (he already has the original AI Czech translation, which unfortunately wasn’t done with the high-quality AI model and is on older versions). If anyone wants to join, just let me know. Since he’s doing it alone for now, it will take some time.

• After a short break, we’ll get back to correcting and finishing the New Balance translation and then gradually translating other mods. We translate according to relevance and quality, giving priority to the better mods.

Completing Myrtana

• I’ll now focus on fixing the last issues and broken mod links on the website.

• I’ll gradually start uploading all existing mods, addons, plugins, and more to the website. There’s still a lot missing. The challenge is that the only thing I can do is translate these mods through automatic Google Translate into Czech + English and release them. The quality of these translations will be quite poor (like any other Google Translate), but there are people who play with them, and that’s exactly my goal – to at least offer you the possibility to play. There aren’t enough people to form a large team and translate all mods within a year or two, and Myrtana has only existed for 2 years. Myrtana will gradually become a complete database with everything included.
