Gothic 1: Extended Edition + Update 1.0.5.5

  • Errors in logic and dialogues fixed and certain mechanics improved.

  • Fixed an issue where ores didn't return after canceling a transaction.

  • Added automatic movement of ores during trading upon pressing the ENTER key.

  • Fixed a problem in blacksmithing where the last resource remained on the screen with a large amount of resources.

  • Removed the option to open Garp's wallet.

  • Brandick no longer has an amulet in his inventory.

  • Lares is now immortal.

  • Fixed a game crash issue when buying armor from Alex.

  • Changed the theft system to work with Fyryna's plugin.

  • Reduced experience gained from theft in higher chapters.

  • Removed the dexterity limitation for pickpocketing, now possible even with dexterity over 100 points.

  • Removed immortality for Manheim and Perrick in Chapter 4.

  • Fixed an issue where characters would get stuck after being hit by the ice ball spell.

  • Corrected the giving of ores by Quentin in the Spy in the Swamp quest.

  • Revised and changed several dialogues.

  • Fixed some logical errors.

  • Added an option in gothic.ini to separate learning points from bonuses (newLearnPointsWithoutBonuses).

  • Added an option in gothic.ini for scaling weapons based on dexterity, such as bows and swords (scaleWeaponsWithDex).

  • Reduced the resistance of young goblins to firearms.

  • Fixed an issue where Connor would attack everyone upon returning to the bandit camp.

  • Changed the display of earth troll claws to claws in the hunter skill window.

  • Added script packages AFSP - EnhancedInfoManager, for better dialogue management. (Developer add-on - Spinneries, Answers, Disabling and hiding dialogues, changing dialogue colors, etc.).

  • Removed dexterity scaling for crossbows, now they scale entirely with strength (requires enabling scaleWeaponsWithDex option in gothic.ini).

  • Added an option to choose the number of crafted items. Use < and > keys to change the quantity.

  • Sakhar now joins the player's party during the harpy killing task.

  • Added an option to disable greetings if in the same camp as the NPC. Enable in Gothic.ini (disableGuildsGreeting).

  • Added an option in gothic.ini to allow joining miners without blocking other guilds (minerNotBlockOtherGuilds).

  • NPC dialogues that lead to an attack are now marked in red.

  • Fixed Dracon guard's reaction to the player approaching the warehouse in the old mine.

  • Revised statistics for hunter attire.

  • Added jewelry to Cronnos' offers, including a minor health regeneration ring (Chapter 3).

  • Removed the chest associated with the pirate's treasure, the second chest no longer requires a key, and its contents have been changed.
