Gothic 2: Armor Expansion - Update 3.0 (Czech mod)

Hello. This time, we have news about a modification from the Czech workshop by a member of our team, Romanez, who is also the author of the English translation for the Gothic 3: Union+ Modpack and is helping us a bit with the Czech version. This mod is aimed more at fans of the original faithful modifications, and as the name suggests, it adds more than 25 new armors to the game that players can obtain – through quests, crafting, or trade. The mod is available in manual Czech, English, and other languages.

NEW FEATURES IN UPDATE 3.0

• New game balance detection systemThanks to brilliant coding by Mud-freak, we were able to implement balance adjustments for some of the most popular mods to ensure that your ArmorExpansion experience remains balanced. The game will check if a certain mod is installed, and if so, it will use different armor protection values compatible with the values present in that mod (to ensure that no armor added by this mod is too weak or too strong, and to prevent errors if crafting materials are replaced by Lhiver).

Currently, the game detects the following mods: Lhiver 1.3, Lhiver 2.0 DE, Lhiver by BuddyGoth, Atariar Edition, Minimod Balance, Gothic 2 Alternative. If these mods are not detected, the game will use values for the original Gothic 2 instead. If you are using a version of these mods that is not detected, or another mod you want balanced, let me know and I will take a look.

• New visual effects for the fixed and improved Paladin armor, making them more distinct from each other.

• Hunter armor made from Dune Worm carapaces now also benefits from wearing a belt, just like its version in the original game.
