Gothic 1: Reworked – Release Date Announcement

On one of the Polish Discord servers where the author of this modification posts updates, he wrote:

The long wait is finally over, as a certain bald guy would say, haha. So I’m happy to announce the release date of the modification! After successful beta testing, the time has come for everyone to play it and share their impressions. I hope you’ll have a great time, because this weekend — specifically on Saturday — I invite you to the premiere of the mod.

So, this Saturday, the mod will see the light of day for the first time. What can you expect? I took part in testing for a bit, but later dropped out due to time constraints. Still, it’s another improvement to the original game. It’s not going to be a massive overhaul like Othello or Extended Edition+, but it’ll definitely please fans of the more traditional modifications. That said, it’s not lacking in new content — quite the opposite, many things have been nicely refined, like alchemy :).
